Elm cottage is located in tumut in the snowy mountains. We are 41/2 hours drive from sydney, 6 hours from melbourne and 2 hours from our capital city of canberra. The tumut region offers activities all year round with skiing at mtl selwyn in winter, and fishing, canoeing, kayaking, bushwalking, mountain bike riding in summer. Elm cottage is the perfect spot to just stop, relax and unwind or you can use it as a base camp to visit the many attractions and activities within the shire.
